More than a passion for numbers.
After extensive and successful careers in some of New Zealand’s top accounting firms, the Mondo Advisory directors felt the call of home, returning to the heartwarming embrace of the Taranaki region, particularly Samantha’s hometown of New Plymouth. Their big firm experience, combined with the lessons of parenthood, planted the idea of Mondo Advisory.
Our directors, Patrick Leong and Samantha Richardson, valued the flexibility that allowed cherished moments with their young family while still nurturing their professional growth, but they yearned for more. Conversations with peers and other small business owners revealed a shared sentiment: many sought more from their accountants and advisory services. An expectation gap emerged, inspiring Patrick and Samantha to fill that void.
Drawing from collective experience in accounting roles and senior commercial roles in large firms and the desire for more benefits and outcomes from accounting relationships, Mondo Advisory was created with a vision of simply offering more to New Zealand businesses.
